THE READHEAD ON SET
Rachel James is an award-winning filmmaker and creative producer with a background in journalism and visual storytelling. She has worked on numerous short and feature films, earning recognition for her work in projects such as “See Yourself in Me,” a 48-Hour Film Festival award-winning short, and “Haunt Me,” an award-winning film in which she also starred.
Her on-set experience spans productions including “Henry’s Ebb,” “The Forsaken,” and the Paramount Plus series “Crutch” featuring Tracy Morgan. She has also collaborated with acclaimed actress and director Kim Fields as a video editor and contributed to multiple branded and media projects across digital platforms.
Rachel’s foundation in journalism shapes her authentic approach to storytelling, finding truth and emotion through visual craft. Passionate about connecting audiences through film, she continues to lead projects that inspire, inform, and empower communities both on and off screen.
